Error messages for utorrent, msn messenger and internet explorer all pop up at once, what do i do?

I keep getting error messages that say along the lines of:

"The instruction at "0x0040ff8d" referenced memory at "0x0000000"

The memory could not be read"

this comes up for pretty much all the programs i am running but usually utorrent is the first to pop up. after these messages come up i cant do anything and have to restart. It does this at least once a day and its really starting to get on my nerves.

anyone have any idea whats going on?

I am running windows xp SP1 with an Intel Pentium III processor(997 MHz) and 312MB of RAM

Thankyou in advance if can help in any way!

Visit http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927385, and read to see if it is relevant and similar to what is happening on your system.

Then follow the resolution, this should hopefully fix it for you (you will need to download a "hotfix")

Good luck
