Why does my internet explorer keep saying this? how do i fix it?

i have the internet explorer7. i dont know if this has something to do with it. but my old IE never did this. i need to have a couple of browsers/tabs open at the same time. but if i have more than 2 open at the same time for more than 5 minutes i get an error message saying that i have reached the maximum amount of cookies and that internet explorer has to shut down!!! this is getting SO annoying. i've tried doing a disk cleanup and checked to see if i needed a disk defrag, and nothing....what do i do?

Go into Tools, Internet options and click the "delete cookies" button.

go to tools, internet options, general, browsing history, settings

there you can increase the amount of disk used for temporary and cookies. it's also a good idea to clear them on a regular basis.
