Whenever I open a new tab, a yellow box pops up and says something about a security issue. You can see it here if it helps:

After I bypass that, a box comes up saying that Internet Explorer has stopped working and needs to close. I close that dialog box, and an error message pops up with some code. After I click out of that, everything seems to work fine. It's just a big hassle to open up a new tab.
Also, I've been noticing some "sponsored links" showing up on the left hand side of the screen on amazon.com, Google searches, and eBay. Is it just my computer, or are all these websites starting to have really annoying ads right where I normally click everything?

do a system restore to a point BEFORE the thing started popping up and make sure to avoid what you were doing when this happened. oh btw try scanning ur computer with a virus scanner, maybe its spyware or some sorta virus. if both dont work dump internet explorer and go for firefox
