I am running Windows XP HE. When I try to open Internet explorer under a limited access account ("guest" account) I get an error message "unknown software exception". How do I fix this?

You can not access Internet explorer through guest account. For that you have to permit the guest account to access Internet explorer. Better you access it through administrator account.
