My internet explorer and maplesea game cannot be open recently. Everytime, i try to open them. An error or pop-up says that " the program has created a problem and needs to be close. Sorry for any inconvenience caused." I am given two options, debug and close. However pressing DEBUG has no effect and CLOSE shuts the whole internet explorer or maple down. Now i am using Mozilla Firefox. I cannot even uninstall maple from the add/remove button as it also says error and close down. I do not have my reformat disc with me. I tried downloading some WinAR programs to help uninstall but to no vaild. This problem occurred only after i left the computer running the whole night at youtube. Which when i found in the morning a virus, but i qurrantined it with my anti-virus. But it is because of the virus ? I have a good windows anti-virus program running and i have scanned it 3 times. Could the virus have got in ? Does anyone know how i can solve this problem fast? Please please tell me thank you.

It could be. Maybe a virus attach itself on the game that is why when you quarantine it. it did not work.
a. System Restore first
Click on Start
Click on All Programs
Click on ACCESSORIES
Click on System Tools
Click on System Restore
Click on Restore your computer to an earlier date
Click on Next
Choose a date (like Yesterday's date)
Folloow the prompts, Click on NEXT
NOTE: Computer will logoff
2. If same problem persist
Try optimizing Internet Exlorer Browser
a. Check first the version
Click Help
Click About Internet Explorer
If you are using IE7 or version 7
a. Close IE
b. Click on Start
c. Click on Control Panel
d. Open Network and Internet Connections
e. Open Internet Options
NOTE: If Network and Internet Connections is separated just try to look for Internet Options
f. At Internet Options
Click on Advanced on the upper right
Click on Reset at the bottom portion
Click on Close
Try to look closely at Advance, there will be a category called Browsing, try to scroll a bit downlook for Enable third party Browser Extensions, uncheck that one
Click on Apply and OK
If you are using version 6
Click on Tools on the upper verions
Click on Internet Options
Under Generl Tab Delete Files, Delete Cookies
Then Go to Security Tab, Click on Default Level
Then Go to Privacy, Click on Default
Then Go to Programs Tab, Click on Reset Web Settings
Then Go to Advanced Click on Restore Defaults
Try to look closely at Advance, there will be a category called Browsing, try to scroll a bit downlook for Enable third party Browser Extensions, uncheck that one
Click on Apply and OK
Then perform Diskcleanup
Click on Start
Click on All Programs
Click on ACCESSORIES
Click on System Tools
Click on Disk Cleanup
Check all the boxes
Click on OK
Then Open your Internet Explorer if you are still having the same problem

c. If you are, go to Safemode with Networking
Shutdown the computer
Look for F8 on the Keyboard
As soon as you turn on the computer tap on F8 continuously
You'll be getting Windows Advance Option Menu
Using the Arrow Keys Highlight Safemode with Networking
Press Enter
Press Enter for the Windows XP
Wait, you'll be getting MultiDisk Partion
Log in using Owner or using your name
a. You can try uninstalling the game here see if you could
b. The open the Internet Explorer
c.Perform some scans

Restart the computer, it will be back at regular mode

hmm it dont work wen i restart de PC wen i tried yur solution (the internet explorer 7 worked), de com den went blue screen n said %26lt;inmountable boot volume%26gt; n since den i cant use de com. Report It
Ther r options 4 me wenever i reboot de com, safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt n last gd usage of system n start windows normally. But none of them work, it revert in2 a blue screen. What cn i do 2 resolve this ?? Report It
Evrytime i open any of the safe mode, words came typing out but i cnt do anything. It wil ask me 2 disable advanced bios caching and shadowing. I tink i might hab tried tat but it do nt work. Pls help, I cant use de com anymore, pls reply,thnks ^^ Report It
