Well, are you connected to the Internet? Start%26gt;Run%26gt;type Cmd.
When the box crops up type: ping (and your IP's address).
If you get packets back, shut your computer down for a few seconds and start back up. If you don't, call your provider.
Try various addresses: msn.com, yahoo.com, etc.
Check your internet connection: Start, IE, Tools%26gt;Options%26gt;Connection
