My internet explorer stoped working and i dont know how to get it back to normal?

my internet explorer isnt workin(im using firefox and thats having a hard time workin too it says runtime error wen i use it but if i dont close it i could use it lik i am now) wen ever i open my internet browser it says internet explorer not responding on the top and then a little box pops out sayin internet explorer has incountered a problem with an add on and needs to close then at the bottom it says the following add on was running when this problem occured:

and i clicked both advanced and continue nothing works!! please help with both internet explorer and firefox,do i have a viruse and how do i fix it??

if u have internet explorer 7

just go to ur control panel

double click internet options

go to advanced tab

and click reset

it will remove all the addons

if u have an earlier version

uninstall it from add/remove windows components (u can find it in add/remove programs in ur control panel) and then add it again after it is uninstalled

click internet options

programs

and click manage add-ons

from there u can enable and desable wat u want
