How to stop ads on internet explorer and internet explorer opening up?

every time i open up internet explorer it opens 5 ,6 , 7 even more of them i have atleast 15 *** up some have ads some are blank and some have Error - Ads need to be loaded from adcode, if you keep getting this error contact your account rep. how can i stop this for free, i have tryed search and destroy but it does nothing somebody help please

You have a virus or spyware. Problem is that some spyware/viruses attack virus scanners and Spybot S%26amp;D.

In a DOS command window, delete all files in

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

Try downloading Spybot S%26amp;D to a directory. Restart your machine in safe mode so that the viruses aren't running. Install and run Spybot. You may even need to select run at next startup in the options and restart your machine.

If that doesn't work, try Adaware. Also you should have a virus scanner like McAffee or Norton. Make sure it is updated and do a full scan.

All else fails, you can use Firefox like the previous user suggested.
Follow these steps in order to fix this problem.

1. Uninstall internet explorer

2.search Mozilla on Google

3. Download fire fox which is the most secure and best web browser of 2008.

4. Enjoy the new features of fire Fox which will make you wonder why you ever used internet explorer in the first place.
