Internet Explorer and Outlook Express?

On my other computer, which runs Windows XP, I have been having problems getting Internet Explorer (Ive tried this on Firefox as well) to load any pages. It will eventually time out after 5 minutes of trying to load google. And on Outlook Express, I can receive emails but cannot send them. I get two error messages when trying to send an email, which are 0x800ccc13 and 0x800ccc0e.

Are you on Dial Up?

If so, then thats part of your loading problem.

Lol.

Make sure your modem is correctly placed - no plugs missing, in wrong slot, etc. if you have DSL. :)
This could mean several problems:

1) A virus or bug, better delete it! Try downloading spybot and destroy it

2) A bad internet connection, and for some reason can only recieve information, not send it

3) 0x800ccc13- A blocked port

4) 0x800ccc0e- you need to upgrade your outlook express

Hope this helps- took me 15 min. lol
Ok this might be because you have a lot of pages in your History. GO to the tools tab at the top of the browser(above the Home and Refresh button) Then go to Internet Options it should come up at the very bottom it will say days to keep pages in history then click clear history. (to make your computer run faster delete the files and cookies) then it will have 2 aarows and a number between it press the down arow untill it gets to 0. the at the bottom click the ok buttom and try again.

Hope this helps.
